Chinese new year

We finished our week with a few Chinese bites: noodles, spring rolls and fortune cookies.  We had a go at using chopsticks, some us were rather good at it!  

China Town

We had fantastic trips to China Town yesterday and saw so much! Thank you for all the parent and carer support we couldn't do these trips without you!

We bought all the children a fortune cookie and a small gift  (chopsticks r1, lanterns r2).

P.E

Below are P.E days for both classes:
R1- WEDNESDAY (GYMNASTICS)
R2- TUESDAY (BALL SKILLS)

Children will now be changing for P.E, please send your child's P.E kit fully labelled and in a named bag. P.e shoes are not required this term.

An example of the P.E kit is below, leggings or navy tracksuit bottoms are also fine.

Please continue encourage your child to practice getting dressed independently.

Superhero Day

We had a fantastic Superhero Day! Thank you for sending in your children with Superhero costumes it really created a buzz! We made capes, masks and biscuits and did Superhero exercises and games! We ate 'Super' vegetables that gave us superpowers! All children should have come home with their creations plus a photo of the day!

Super vegetables

This week we have been busy creating our own super vegetables. Thank you to everyone who sent in vegetables for this! Our team of super vegetables managed to trap the evil pea in a block of ice FOREVER

Welcome Back!

We had a good first day back today and told the children about our new topic 'Superheroes'!

Our first book is Super-Tato and we're asking if you can send your child in with a 'hard' vegetable next Monday such as a potato, carrot or butternut.

Also we will be having a superhero day on Thursday 12th where children can come in to school wearing a superhero costume (but no accessories please!)
